Group PBI Ecosystems Project Development Assignments

ASSIGNMENT #1:
  • Students will use a web tool to create an individual introduction to be shared with their partner schools.

Assignment #2:

  • Look at these resources for inspiration as you write your compelling question.

  • Writing your compelling question
  • You will upload your compelling question to your group's Quip page.

Assignment #3: After your compelling questions are written you will now start to gather and analyze sources.


Assignment #4: Creatively Synthesize Claims and Evidence

  • You will work with your group to produce claims that are supported by evidence and answer your compelling question.

This "Briefcase" will contain laboratory activities, web resources, charts, graphs, videos, journal articles, and other items that your teachers will provide to help you create your PBI project. Check back to this section often to see if there are resources that are helpful to you and your group.


Science Lab Task #1: This is located in Quip. The Red folders will hold the student lab activities. The green folders have the instructor directions for each lab activity. EB


  • For Homework: You will take an idea that you have learned from your lab activity (your take-away) and then post your one take-away on Quip. Reply to two of your peers' posts on Quip. (Focus on at least one of the points in their take-away.) You will post and reply only on Quip.
